Two bodies preparing for a journey: they meet, they join, they recognise each other, and then they part forever. The journey, which may or may not be real, is a secular rite of passage, set in an afterlife without ancient heroes, but with two lost figures that have begun to resemble each other, trying to say goodbye in an imaginary antechamber of death.

The piece is a dedication to someone or something that has passed – a friendship, a love or a life – through the physical performance of the two performers, who move from walking to dancing.
