Perspectiva is an urban dance project conceived for densely populated areas: specific neighbourhoods or housing estates, courtyard and multi-family houses, apartment complexes. Built with and for the place and its inhabitants, it aims to create community and sociality through an exchange of knowledge between residents and dancers.
During the research/rehearsal period, the dancers become explorers: they collect physical, musical and verbal testimonies from the inhabitants and transform them into a diffuse performance that takes place throughout the inhabited area, with the aim of enhancing and rethinking it as an extraordinary scenario.
Dance/choreography creates an alternative map of everyday places, subverting their rules and functions, defining new paths through the streets, pavements, courtyards and gardens, entering the domestic perspectives of the inhabitants of the housing units who can observe through their windows, doors and balconies.
